Viaduct Events Server and Bartender

Viaduct Events Server and Bartender: Seasonal Summer Work

The Viaduct is a secret garden event space designed and managed by Cohere. Dedicated to emerging voices in food + music + art, Cohere hosts a wide variety of events with visitors and participants hailing from multiple disciplines. Hosting events such as three-course foraged dinners, flea markets, summer party series, and drag shows, our events are a hub for people involved in the food and arts industry. Our event servers will work in an environment that harbors creativity alongside like-minded people who have the same values.

Our server and bartender positions are perfect for anyone looking to exercise their hospitality and food presentation and preparation skills while expanding their interests and network in the field of art, music, and food. Prior hospitality service is required along with strong communication and teamwork skills. An ideal candidate is creative behind the bar and interested in cocktail development, enjoys working outside, has a flexible schedule, and is fine working alongside both people and chickens.

If you are chosen to work at the Viaduct, we offer $12/ hr for 10-15 hours a week with room to grow. Your responsibilities would include:

  • Ensuring a welcoming environment and representation of Cohere
  • Timely delivery of food and drinks
  • Development and knowledge of the bar menu
  • Developing social media content for the menu
  • Watering flowers
  • Reporting financial success
  • Side work such as dishes and cleaning before and after events

While there are typical requirements of the trade, this position is more than just a normal server or bartender role–it extends into the development of drinks and content creation with the possibility of learning positions at our sister brands, Maidencreek Co. and Cohere.
