Overview

Cohere is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to professionalize our internal B2B marketing efforts and help align the growth of the company with the marketing efforts. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing end-to-end integrated digital and event campaigns designed to raise awareness of Cohere and result in qualified new clients. Cohere is growing in NYC in particular, with larger brands, and we want to continue to own the niche of real estate and hospitality service. This role will help ensure lead generation and quality storytelling amongst our impactful projects, from the Cohere voice and channels. The function is new in our business and was shared amongst a few people, so you will have freedom to shape how we do things as a team while having the support of others in similar roles to you across the creative agency. You will need to be willing to work at a high level for goals, objectives and budgetary purposes, and then turn those objectives into clear directives and deliverables for junior team members.

This job is hybrid, although we would require travel to our NYC, Philadelphia or Baltimore locations as often as Quarterly depending on where you are based out of. We are an experienced hybrid-remote culture and ensure our team feels connected even in a digital environment.

This year Cohere is planning to grow over 25% and with that, continue to increase their National reputation in their sweet spot sector. Their growth so far has been as a result of smart, niche placement, and “flywheel marketing” style supported by a motivated team. About the Job

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent and cohesive storytelling across all channels, working closely with creative team members to develop messaging across all campaign channels: email, website, events, social media, digital marketing/advertising  and industry partnerships.

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent and cohesive storytelling across all channels, working closely with creative team members to develop messaging across all campaign channels: email, website, events, social media, digital marketing/advertising  and industry partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal teams to develop and continuously improve Cohere’s value proposition (individual solutions + overall brand) and competitive differentiation
  • Develop a strategic marketing plan for 2023 with the assistance of previous plans, data and the team. Set a timeline and realistic goals for lead generation.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and strategy across internal communications and external channels (website, social media, case studies, events, paid search, etc.)
  • Develop key messages and copy for a few new Cohere assets A best-in-class new website for Cohere’s work and why we do it
    An evergreen, highly interactive Impact Report and cultural piece
  • Key campaigns to increase brand awareness in NYC and LA
  • Influence our marketing strategy to drive pipeline growth and account retention in collaboration with creative team members
  • Drive lead generation based on revenue and sales goals, and find ways to improve the CTA, campaigns and routes in which we capture new business
  • Support the sales team by overseeing the creation of sales enablement content – such case studies, collateral, presentations, and other tools
  • Establish and maintain content engagement reporting to share with the marketing, sales, communications and executive teams
  • Lead the creation of case studies and their stories on our website with team support
  • Oversee a Junior Art Director and content creators
  • Oversee the copy and story of each project and where it is implemented
  • Partner with and lead our existing (and highly capable) digital marketing team that manages our Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook advertising as well as Google Adwords and SEO
  • Manage Campaigns that have URLs with calls to action that help generate leads
  • Manage SEO and organic efforts with our blog and case studies
  • Manage specific URLs that are targeted to professional clients
  • Manage paid campaigns and their results
  • Manage social media accounts Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram with a best-in-class visual and campaign approach
  • Manage Email blasts and the effort to increase subscribers
  • Manage the main Cohere website, case studies, and blogs including reviewing the reports of analytics to make informed decisions
  • Work with leadership on a Quarterly basis to report and collaborate on how things are going and overall impact
  • Manage a National PR team and their duties to help increase awareness of Cohere and its projects
  • Contribute to Cohere client strategies in the following areas:
  • Marketing and campaign strategies at a high level
  • Differentiating larger clients and advising internal teammates on strategic growth or marketing objectives and how to achieve them
    Social media strategy and plans at a high level

This person will not be responsible for implementing this work, just a key member of the team to help us ensure highest quality big picture thinking at the strategy stage for key National accounts.

This person should have 5-7 years experience in content marketing, copywriting, social media, digital marketing, executing effective campaigns and creative strategies for brands in growth mode. The ideal candidate possesses the skills of someone who always thinks about the story and message, and has hard skills in project management, is rganized, able to collaborate at a high level to clarify goals and objectives, manage a budget, be administratively efficient, detail oriented, fast learner and interested in working with a talented team to accomplish lead generation marketing on multiple platforms. They are energized by the idea of creating a flywheel of multiple touchpoints for an engaged community online, and pay close attention to other brands for inspiration. They are able to approach deadlines and goals with a solution focused approach.

We are in need of someone who can take on the daily tasks and processes that are important for growing our business. Meaning, someone who will learn from the CEO directly, with a team of willing and capable supporters, to help manage the brand online and take it to the next level. They should be interested in learning how to build a brand or personal brand online, and leadership development as this position offers the unique opportunity to learn first-hand.

Qualifications:

5-7+ years of experience in Copywriting, Strategic Lead, Content Marketing or Social Media Management, Account Management, Experience in Digital Marketing, Project Management, Creation of Content, Management of a Blog and Website, Experience in Email blasts and an interest in PR.

Pay Rate:

  • Depending on experience, $61,000-80,000
  • Depending on experience and results oriented examples of work

  • Bonus program available for earn in after 1 year full time employment which is at 10-15% the person’s compensation in addition to their base salary
